Not knowing much about consumer NAS', my first and present NAS is a Synology DS220j, as I was mostly considering price and reviews. It's a 2020 NAS that was a mistake, as it has only 512MB of operating RAM, which is grossly inadequate after installing DSM 7.x. Everything is slow using this NAS. From the most simple operations and above it's so very laggy it gets aggravating waiting for it to catch up to virtually any interaction you do with it. Word for the wise, NEVER try and use this NAS with Synology's Photo app. Especially if you try to enable face recognition. I had to unplug it's power just to stop it from overheating and being stuck in oblivion trying to process my photos. So, it had to go. So I did so more informed research. I wanted 2.5Ghz LAN and a minimum 2GB RAM. But until the 216G came about, you'd have to spend $300+ to get that. Not anymore with this. This great video confirmed I made the right choice. So many "professional" NAS reviewers complain about QNAP's software, when comparing it to Synology's. But this video clearly showed the base software, that most average consumers will use: Qsync, Qphotos, etc are very easy to set up and use. And I am so pleased you included the DS220j performance numbers in this video. Very informative video! Mine arrives tomorrow and the 220j will go on Marketplace for a very reduced price.

When will they have PLEX?

Might be a better idea to place your router on the top floor as signal on a router flows from the top down, then re-test. One review states that they finally lost signal on this router around 350ft away. Little different than what you are providing to say the least.

Important question: Does the CPU still get hot up to 95°C? Because it is designed to run hot up to 95°C. With your custom cooling solution, it certainly won't reach high temperatures during benchmarks, right?

I have the pretty same model (Victus 15-fb1013dx) and getting random *VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR* blue screen, especially at times right after signing into Windows when the PC is not under any heavy load. BIOS is F.03. Ran plenty of Diagnostic tests in UEFI mode resulted with no error. Is there anyone having same BSOD error here?

Oh great! I'm so happy to have found this for such a cheap price. I only need 1Gbps for my connection. Happy have to got a free upgrade but now need to upgrade my wifi to match. Update: getting 780 Mbps up close but it drops to 500 Mbps in the other room. I'm still going to use a cable for my main PC but mobile devices are fast now!

For 3 years very happy with IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ACH6, no heating issues, no glare, aluminium, USB-C is display port too. Battery still holds 4h while watching videos and using other programs. Casual gaming is nice, in BF1 good enough to be competative I run LLM in VM and use 5 more windows with no problems with 16gb ram, but would like to have 32gb for more advanced TTS and STT models in offline mode. Only reason why I even came here to see this model but I see I already have better deal. Thanks man.
